An introspective float through a heart, exploring all the wonders of it, slowly and carefully.

The beginning is the dive into the heart, big splashes and transitioning into the world of the heart. Then comes the gentle exploration and it is your to enjoy. You might find something new in there, or maybe you know the insides of a heart very well..

The tracklisting is final and completed for the upcoming Reflekshun album! The cover is taking steps towards completion. I have been working furiously at putting together an album scheduled for release March 2008! I will keep you posted on its progress, I need to be absolutely sure this will be worth buying. So as well as working on the music I've been preparing goodies for the album cover. If all goes the way I want it to, I'm sure you'll enjoy the whole experience. You are in a cave, you are holding an old lantern, glowing yellow. Parts of the cave walls glow blue, and others glow green. There are demons, critters that appear seemingly from the walls. None of which set out to kill, but rather to test you. While focussed and determined to leave the cave, you don't seem to come across anything resembling an exit.

WOW - its soo hot right now even though its midnight! I have just recently seen Kaki King Live. WOW - Kaki King was really something else, to see what shes capable of doing with just one pair of hands and one guitar - I really had to see it to believe it!

Anyway, I hope this song makes you feel better - I know - Life can really test you at times,

Happy new year everybody. I hope you spent a great Christmas with your families and that you have a positive outlook on 2007! I managed to sleep through New Years Eve for the first time in my life (except maybe for when i was a baby). Anyway to help with the positive outlook thingy, have a listen to this new house track. I just want to let everyone know that I will be following my heart around Europe the next 5 weeks, so there won't be any updates till 2007, but thankyou for sticking with me through the first half of this year which was really crap for both myself and reflekshun.com.

The site is back now with a stronger vision and I look forward to bringing you more enjoyable things to listen to! Happy New Year when it happens!

Oh the divinity of history, there is so much of it. I will just say: Commodore 64. Because i felt like it, hmm it makes me feel fuzzy. Computer game music from my childhood unbeknownst to myself, shaped the musician in me that would only be awakened decades in the future. That fascinates me. This is just one angle on the vision of this song. Have fun finding your own other ones :)

The Divinity Of History

My three revelations in music making for today :)

1. If you're good, speak with your product, not with your mouth.

2. If you spend countless hours on something and it doesn't work, then it doesn't work and you must discard it. (unless you make it work!)

3. If there are holes in your song, leave them as holes! Temporarily filling them with crap will only block your inspiration when you want to add something good!

Ever had the feeling that work is taking over your life? That your dreams that were once all you could think about, are now all but an echo?

That feeling strikes more fear in me than any other. If I were to let go of my dreams, my life would have such a hollow purpose. If I were an ant, who is supposedly born with no dreams, there would be no issue. However as a human, dreams can be the source of unlimited potential. Dreams can drive you to achieve the impossible, and dreams can make you oh so happy. Achieving your dreams is not the first priority, chasing them is. Thats the fun part.
